Sunrise Tennis Academy

Sunrise Tennis Club opened in February 2001; it offer 10 hydrocourt clay courts, 4 cushioned hard courts, and one cushioned Leykold stadium court which is resurfaced yearly. All 15 courts have lights for night play. The club features a clubhouse with a spacious players’ lounge as well as locker rooms with showers. For many years the club hosted the prestigious Men’s BMW Championship, an ATP event that attracks a stellar field of top-50 players in preparation for the Ericsson Open in Key Biscayne. Recent participants include Robin Soderling, Tomas Berdych, Juan Martin Del Potro, Fernando Gonzales, and Gael Monfils among others. On September 12 – 14, the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group play-off tie between Israel and Argentina was hosted by the Israel Tennis Association (ITA) at the Sunrise Tennis Club in Sunrise, Florida.

Sunrise Tennis Club has won numerous accolades, including the United States Tennis Association (USTA) 2001 “Outstanding Facility” Award, and Tennis Industry magazine’s 2001 “Court of The Year” award.

Our players take advantage of all three different surfaces available at Sunrise Tennis Academy to adapt their game to their upcoming tournaments.

In our spacious facilities, players can not only focus on tennis, but relax on the side-lines and take a break from the intense training sessions held daily.
